Kynance Sketchbook Zine
This time of sketching was done following the birth of my daughter, after a short but intense period of illness called Postpartum Psychosis. I found great comfort in being able to go out and draw from observation and quickly found I returned to Kynance Cove again and again. There was something about seeing the massive serpentine stacks and islands that pulled me out of my head and helped focus me on the beauty of my surroundings. It became part of my therapy and recovery.
Each sketch was drawn with my daughter and husband by my side which meant I had a limited amount of time but also that I have the memory of them in the sketches. I hope you enjoy flicking through the pages and it inspires you in your creativity.
