Wildflower colour and collage | Art Workshop

Watercolour, mixed media, collage
Join illustrator and sketchbook artist Melanie for 1.5 hrs to mix and capture the colours of local wildflowers. We'll spend time colour mixing and swatching with a limited palette and then creatively draw some of the wildflowers from the garden at Lowenek Studio. Our final piece will be a posy of wildflowers finished off with a collaged vase inspired by Pippa's pots.
Through sketching the flowers you'll find space to be calm and switch off whilst also learning a range of drawing techniques using a mix of mediums.
What's provided?
All materials for each session will be provided.

Look out for the blue sign at the end of the single track farm drive. Parking on site.
This is happening during Open Studios Cornwall and is part of the program.
There will be opportunity to see Mel's sketchbooks and work as well as two other artists.
