Summer Sketch Walks around the Lizard
From JUNE-AUGUST 2025 Wednesdays-Fridays
I'm able to offer sketch walk experiences at the following areas on the Lizard peninsula:

Helford Village
Mullion Cove
Predannack
Polurrian Cove
Gunwalloe and Church Cove

Pricing starts at £65 per person includes a sketchbook and use of artists materials for a 2 hour session. Workshops can last 2, 2.5 hrs or 3 hours. See the drop down menu for costs.
For group bookings please let me know the amount of people and for how long and I can provide you with a group cost.
Depending upon where we meet I will recommend where to park.
Who is this for? You will love this workshop if:
You enjoy exploring and observing things around you
You are looking to improve your observation skills and grow in confidence
You want to take in and record the Cornish landscape in a creative way
You are interested in Sketching and looking to start a habit of sketchbook journalling
Where and what does it entail?
We will be walking and sketching around the coastal areas of the Lizard. There will be some amount of walking, and the ground is uneven and steep at times so please make sure you have some level of fitness to participate.
You'll be sketching from life and will be given advice and guidance on how to best capture your subjects. I will also give a brief overview of keeping a sketchbook and ideas for how to build it into a daily habit.
What do I need to bring?
You do not need to bring anything with you other than a bag to carry supplies and a water bottle. Sketchbooks will be provided along with a selection of drawing materials.
Make sure to not overload yourself, remember you will be walking around so only bring what you are comfortable to carry. Please wear suitable walking shoes and wear layers.
Cancellation
The workshop will only be cancelled if weather is torrential rain, and severe winds. Please expect the workshop to go ahead unless you hear otherwise.
Full amount will be reimbursed once that decision has been made on the day.
